Pet Sitting & Dog Walking Frequently Asked Questions
How do I become a client?
You can call or email the office any time or create an account online. We then schedule a Meet and Greet to get to know your pet and answer any questions you may have. Once the registration process is complete you can request any of our services at your convenience.
What is a Meet and Greet?
This is a scheduled visit where you and your pets can get acquainted with your assigned sitter. We go over all necessary information and answer any questions you may have. Services can NOT be provided until a Meet and Greet has been completed.
Do you board pets or bring them into your homes?
No, we do not. We provide in-your-home pet sitting with a variety of services to make your pet comfortable and secure in their own home. Overnight Pet Sitting is a great option to make sure your pet has friendly company all throughout the night.
How do clients schedule visits?
Services can be requested through our online scheduling system. Clients are given their own secured account which they can log into and request any service they desire. You can also call or email the office during office hours to requests visits.
Do you administer medication?
Yes. We administer medication orally, only. However, your pet must be comfortable with the process and comfortable with having a new person administer it.
What if my pet becomes ill while I’m away and unable to get back in time?
If we notice something unusual we will call you at the emergency numbers we have on file. Should you feel it necessary for your pet to see a vet, we will take them to their vet office to be examined and treated. If you cannot be reached through any of the numbers on file, we will determine whether or not your pet should be seen by a veterinarian and take them to be treated, if necessary. Extra time for these services will be billed accordingly.
Do you provide “house sitting” services if I don’t have a pet?
Absolutely. Houses need attention, too. Overnight stays, periodic drop-ins, and plant watering service can all help homeowners make sure their house is being watched over while they travel. Clients receive the same updates that pet owners do to keep track of everything.
Are there any extra costs for holiday visits?
Yes. There is a $10 additional charge for Dog Walks, Pet Sitting, and Additional Services. $20 surcharge for Overnight Stays.
Do you accept last minute requests?
Absolutely! Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality service when you need it most, including unexpected surprises. However, we cannot guarantee that a sitter will be available on short notice. Requests should be made during office hours to ensure a timely response from us. After office hours decreases the likelihood your request will be confirmed.
